about me.
Art director and digital designer based in San Diego, helping brands build digital experiences that connect, convert, and scale.
creative that scales.
I focus on creative that helps brands grow.
Over the last 15+ years, I’ve worked across eCommerce, paid media, lifecycle marketing, and digital experiences, primarily in the health, wellness, and DTC space.
I’ve redesigned websites. Launched products. Built lifecycle programs. Created performance creative. And spent more hours than I’d like to admit thinking about customer journeys.
Over time, my perspective shifted. I stopped thinking about individual assets. I started thinking about systems. The connection between paid media, websites, email, and the customer experience as a whole.
That’s where things get interesting.
I enjoy collaborating with designers, copywriters, creative strategists, media buyers, marketers, developers, and leadership teams who love solving problems, testing ideas, and figuring out what actually moves the needle.
Because the best creative doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when everything works together.
How I Work
Creative Direction
I help shape creative systems that feel cohesive across paid media, lifecycle, and digital experiences. My approach balances visual storytelling with performance, making sure the work not only looks strong, but connects with people and performs.
Performance Design
I design with growth in mind. From landing pages and email flows to paid media creative, I focus on building digital experiences that feel intuitive, scalable, and conversion-focused without losing the human side of the brand.
Systems Thinking
I think beyond one-off assets. The strongest brands are built through connected systems where creative, strategy, and customer experience all work together. That’s where long-term growth starts to compound.
Creative Workflow
The Tools Behind the Process
My workflow blends design, marketing, collaboration, and AI-assisted tools to help bring ideas to life more efficiently and thoughtfully. From Adobe Creative Cloud and Shopify to Klaviyo, Slack, Zoom, and emerging AI platforms, these tools help support every stage of the creative process, from ideation and production to collaboration and execution.
I use AI as part of the process, not the final product. It helps speed up ideation, explore creative directions, and streamline production, while the strategy, decision-making, and creative refinement still comes from experience, intuition, and understanding the bigger picture.
At the end of the day, the tools are just that: tools. What matters most is how everything comes together to create work that feels cohesive, intentional, and built for growth.
Brands & Teams
A Career Built Through Collaboration
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of brands, from established companies and hospitality groups to fast-growing wellness and DTC teams. While every project has been different, the common thread has always been building thoughtful creative that helps brands connect with people more clearly.
Much of my experience has been rooted in health, wellness, fitness, and eCommerce, where I’ve worked across paid media, lifecycle marketing, digital experiences, and brand systems. I enjoy collaborating closely with teams to solve problems, move quickly, and create work that feels both strategic and human.
Whether supporting a large organization or a growing brand finding its voice, I care about building creative that feels intentional, adaptable, and built to evolve over time.
Outside of design, I’m basically a dog dad, gym regular, and full-time superhero movie and comic book nerd.
I care a lot about health, longevity, movement, and staying active. Most weekends I’m either out exploring San Diego parks with Loki, getting a workout in, or trying to convince myself I don’t need to rewatch the Avengers movies for the hundredth time.
Getting outside, unplugging for a bit, and spending time with Loki has become a huge part of how I reset creatively.
born & raised.
I was born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri, a historic town just outside of St. Louis and the starting point of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It’s where my foundation was set, grounded, active, and curious from an early age.
Sports played a big role growing up. I played soccer from first grade through high school and ran track in my later years, focusing on the 100m, 200m, and 400m. That competitive energy taught me discipline, consistency, and how to push through challenges. Those lessons still show up in my work today.
At the same time, I gravitated toward creativity. I excelled in math, but art classes were where I felt most at home. If I wasn’t at practice, I was usually making something, exploring ideas, or finding creative outlets that balanced structure with self-expression.
And of course, there’s the food. The original St. Louis style pizza, Imo’s, still holds the title for the best pizza I’ve ever had. Nothing compares, and I’ll happily stand by that.
grew up in.
I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, a city that played a major role in shaping who I am today. I studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Design.
While the degree gave me a strong foundation in structure, systems, and problem-solving, it also helped me realize that my true calling wasn’t architecture itself, but creative work that lived closer to people, storytelling, and everyday experiences. That realization led me to pivot toward graphic design.
Outside of school, I stayed deeply connected to sports and fitness. I played competitive soccer in the Chicago Metropolitan Sports Association league, which reinforced discipline, teamwork, and consistency. Those lessons carried over naturally into my professional life.
Chicago is also where my connection to the fitness, health, and wellness community truly took shape. I worked at Equinox Fitness Clubs in several roles, from Front Desk and Retail at the field level to a Graphic Design Intern and Social Media Consultant at the corporate level. Through Equinox, I worked alongside personal trainers, group fitness instructors, Pilates instructors, and countless professionals dedicated to helping others improve their lives.
What stayed with me most was the mindset. No matter someone’s background or story, the common goal was always the same: to get better. That shared sense of progress, growth, and self-improvement is what drew me to this community and continues to influence the work I do today.
I still have family in Chicago, and it will always feel like home. It’s where I did a lot of my growing up, both personally and professionally, and where many of my core values were solidified.
currently living in.
I’m currently living in San Diego, California, where everything I’ve picked up along the way feels aligned. The grounded roots from Missouri, the growth and drive shaped in Chicago, and now a lifestyle built around balance, movement, and intention.
San Diego makes it easy to stay active and spend time outdoors. Whether I’m exploring the city, getting steps in with my dogs, or simply enjoying time outside, this environment keeps me energized and inspired. That energy naturally carries into my work.
The health, wellness, and fitness community here feels familiar in the best way. It’s full of people who care about progress, consistency, and becoming better versions of themselves while still enjoying the process. It’s a mindset I connect with deeply and one that continues to shape how I collaborate and create.
San Diego isn’t about slowing down. It’s about moving forward with intention, having fun along the way, and building a life and career that genuinely feel good.
